Solid mahogany frame, hand-caned ratan back, Warwick upholstery you don't have to baby, and brass-tipped legs that scuff in all the right ways. Treated and seasoned wood, finished in Bona. The kind of chair you can lean back on without a guilty conscience.

Hand-caned in our workshop the way it's been done for a hundred years — slow, by people who know what they're doing. Will the cane loosen with use? Yes. Will it look better for it? Also yes. Re-cane it three decades from now and start over.
